How we use your information

NØRD Audio Labs uses your email to create your account, send sign-in codes and give you access to the plugins you own. My plugins holds your serials, downloads and registered computers.

News, product updates and offers are optional. Select the newsletter checkbox, then enter your email code to confirm that choice. RISE is free whether you subscribe or not.

Account sign-in and storage

Neon Auth verifies your email code and manages your sign-in session. We store account records, plugin ownership, encrypted serials and computer registrations in our private Neon PostgreSQL database in Frankfurt. Our email delivery provider uses your address to send sign-in messages. A session cookie keeps you signed in.

Plugin activation

When you activate a plugin, it sends your serial, a hashed computer identifier and a computer name to NØRD Audio Labs. We use these to check your license and manage its two registered computers. The plugin does not send the original operating-system device identifier or a hardware inventory. Your computer stores a signed activation receipt so the activated plugin can work offline.

Purchases

For paid plugins, Stripe Managed Payments processes your payment as merchant of record through Link. It shares purchase and payment-status information with us. We link the confirmed purchase to your signed-in account to provide your license and downloads. RISE remains free.

Optional newsletters

If you opt in and verify your email, we add your address to our Resend newsletter contacts to send the updates you requested. We record your email address, the consent wording and version, where you signed up, and when you requested and confirmed your subscription. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. Signing in with the newsletter checkbox unchecked does not change an existing subscription.

Your choices

You can sign out and manage registered computers in My plugins. Account information is kept while you have an account. Sign-in codes are short-lived and single-use. Account help, access requests and account-deletion requests go to the reply address in your sign-in email. Deleting your account also removes your plugin access and associated newsletter subscription.
